Leicester Samaritans was founded in 1964 and we have been listening 7 days a week since then, a record of which we are very proud. We take over 44,000 contacts a year at our branch.
Welcome to Leicester Samaritans
From our branch in Leicester we provide confidential, emotional support to those in need of a safe space to talk over problems, feelings, stress or anything that maybe worrying them, especially those in extreme despair.
Our 130 trained volunteers respond to over 44,000 contacts for support by phone, email and face to face visits in our branch.

We have partnerships with a number of local organisations, including HM Prison Leicester and HM Prison Gartree.
