Hear from Kerry, who set up a Tribute Fund after her husband’s Grandad took his own life.
"On Saturday 9th June 2018 we were waiting for Ken, my husband's grandad, to arrive for lunch.
"This is a man who is never late, so when he didn't arrive at 1pm we knew something was wrong. A short while after, we learnt that he had taken his own life.
We don’t know why. There were no signs of depression, illness or anything that suggested he was struggling.

"We just wish he’d talked to someone about what he was going through. This experience showed me that suicide can affect anyone, and since that day I’ve wanted to raise awareness of Samaritans as they are available 24/7, 365 days of the year and will always be there for you.
"I would encourage anyone thinking of setting up a Tribute Fund for Samaritans to do it. It has been really comforting to know that the money is going towards helping others, and Samaritans have been very grateful and provided excellent support to help raise money to create a fitting tribute for Grandad."
