Our North London Branch is is need of a Fundraising Supporter to support the Branch Fundraising Lead with fundraising events in the local community.
● Support the organisation of fundraising events (e.g. quiz nights, carol singing etc).
● Suggest diverse and inclusive fundraising opportunities to engage the local community.
● Attend and participate in fundraising events throughout the year.
● Make sure that any activity complies with Samaritans policies and relevant fundraising and event management regulations (e.g. confidentiality, data protection, handling money, ensure collection tins are sealed etc).
● Promote and share fundraising events in the local community and in branch, encouraging volunteer involvement.
The branch is flexible on the time commitment for this role, but may fluctuate depending on the nature and timing of events.
At a minimum supporting fundraising events for key dates throughout the year (for example, Brew Monday January, World Suicide Prevention Day September, Winter events, etc.)
The role can be conducted remotely with a requirement to attend fundraising events throughout the year.
