Our top tips for taking care of yourself during your 24-Hour Challenge for Samaritans Awareness Day.
Taking care of yourself
Thank you for taking on a 24-Hour Challenge for Samaritans Awareness Day on Wednesday, 24 July. We want you to have a fun and positive experience, and to look after yourself throughout your challenge. Please don't undertake any challenge that puts your health or safety at risk.
If you need to take an unscheduled break or to stop altogether – that's ok – your wellbeing comes first always.
If disrupting your routine could negatively impact your mood or wellbeing, consider doing your challenge for a shorter time or spreading it out over a few days.
Top tip for gamers, streamers, and binge-watchers:
We encourage you to take regular screen breaks and to move around. Stay hydrated and remember to have snacks or food breaks.
