About Samaritans in Ireland & Northern Ireland
With 24 locations across Ireland and Northern Ireland, Samaritans Ireland provides a vital lifeline, answering over 1,500 calls for help a day. Samaritans is the only charity in Ireland offering emotional support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to anyone who is in distress, lonely, struggling to cope or feeling suicidal. Volunteers are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on the freephone helpline number 116 123 and email [email protected].

Looking after yourself and your community on stream
Your wellbeing is the most important thing when you stream for Samaritans. To help, we’ve got some tips and advice for how to look after you and your community when streaming.
Staying safe while streaming
Everyone at Samaritans – volunteers and supporters alike – are encouraged to look after themselves, because you can’t look after other people if you don’t look after yourself first. Consider these steps for staying safe before, during and after live streaming.
