Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy. But suicide is preventable and the more we are equipped to recognise and safely intervene to help someone at risk, the more lives we can save.
Making a suicide intervention gives people the skills and confidence to intervene and engage with a person at risk of suicide, helping them to keep them as safe as possible until specialist help or emergency services arrive.
The course is aimed at organisations with staff who work in a suicide-risk location. It is also highly beneficial for companies who are looking to develop their suicide prevention strategies.
