Dealing with feelings contains sessions exploring how we all feel differently about things that happen in our lives.

DEAL: let it out
In this session we will learn: the benefits and risks of expressing our feelings; how we can express feelings in different ways using written words; how poetry and other creative channels can help to express feelings

DEAL: aggression
In this session we will learn: that aggression and frustration are linked; to understand some causes of frustration; to recognise our own feelings and respond to them appropriately

DEAL: self-harm myths and facts
In this session we will learn: some of the facts about self-harming behaviour; to recognise self-harming behaviour in ourselves and others; how to ask for help when needed and that it is ok to ask for help; how to support a friend

DEAL: finding a way forward
In this session we will learn: how talking about feelings can help; that there is always hope; where to get support if needed; how to support a friend

DEAL: expressing feelings
In this session we will learn: to recognise that our feelings are individual; to understand that some feelings are harder to cope with than others; that talking about feelings can help; how expressing your feelings can help you manage them

DEAL: what is depression?
In this session we will learn: to recognise when we need to ask for support; to recognise when others need support; to understand what depression is
