A year ago today we lost a great supporter of The Yeovil Samaritans, Mr John Grant. It is believed that he had been an admirer of the Samaritans and had known of our work for many years. In his will Mr Grant remembered our branch and the support that we offered our local community. In order for us to continue our work he provided us a legacy which allows us to future grow our reach, to continue supporting those who need us and to allow us to flourish in the future. Without this gentleman we would not have been able to purchase a premises closer to the town to enable us to firmly bed ourselves into the heart of Yeovil, we would also not be able to offer our space to community support groups in the future. Words cannot describe the impact Mr Grant has had on our branch or the impact his generosity will have on the wider community. For this a massive thank you must go to the late Mr Grant for all that he has done for us and will continue to do in the future.
