Supporting our callers and community this Christmas
Winter can be a challenging time for many people. Last winter, Samaritans volunteers nationwide answered almost 250,000 calls for help.
That's why we're so grateful for the support of our volunteers and our community, all year round. This winter has been no exception.
We joined in the annual Christmas Tree Festival at St Barnabas Church in Weeke, with a tree donated and decorated by volunteer Tony, to remind the community that we're here to listen this Christmas.
Remember we are here to listen 24/7 during the Christmas period

We hosted a Christmas carol concert at the spectacular Saint Peter's Catholic Church to raise vital funds for our branch.
The Adoramus Singers, conducted by John Lunt accompanied by the organist Jamal Sutton performed a mix of familiar carols and a sprinkling of newer pieces, with plenty of mince pies, wine and singing along!
Most importantly, we raised hundreds of pounds, which will help us answer even more calls this Christmas and beyond.
