Carnegie Arts Centre, Workington - Thursday 10th October
We will be in attendance at The Carnegie Arts Centre, Workington on Thursday 10th October to mark World Mental Health Day.
The event will take place at the Carnegie Arts Centre Workington between 10:00 and 14:00 on Thursday 10th October. Coffee, tea and biscuits will be organised and provided by Radio Cumbria.
Also in attendance will be Mike Zeller (Radio Cumbria), Ben Maeder (BBC), Georgina Ternent and Kirsty Mills from the Public Health Team and Every Life Matters.
The event is being set up in memory of Neil, a friend of Mike's who died by suicide last year. Mike has said that if one person reaches out for help as a result of the Coffee Morning it will have been worthwhile.
Colin Cox, Director of Public Health for Cumberland is also expected during the morning. The DPH report this year focussed specifically on mental health.
