Sams at Warrington Central Station
As part of the Small Talk Saves Lives campaign, volunteers from the Warrington, Halton, and St Helens branch were at Warrington Central station, helping to raise awareness and encourage vital conversations. In partnership with Network Rail and British Transport Police, this campaign aims to empower people to reach out to others who may be struggling, even if it’s just through a simple chat.
Volunteers handed out leaflets that provided guidance on how to approach someone who might not be OK, helping to boost confidence for those who may feel unsure about starting what can sometimes feel like a difficult conversation. These small, meaningful interactions can make a huge difference in someone's life. It's a reminder that looking out for each other—whether on a busy station platform or in a public place—could save lives.
