Once again we want to thank all our community supporters, local businesses and other Samaritan branches who have helped us reach £200,000 towards our target of £250,000.
This is amazing as we haven’t yet reached the first anniversary of Project 55 launch.
We have held a number of events over the summer to raise funds and awareness of both what we do and Project 55. These include a Painting and Prosecco night, run by Heather from All these small things; a 10k run held by Walsall Arboretum Running Club and a Fashion show supported by Colours fashion fundraising. All have been well attended and supported.
Along side the fundraising, the Branch Leadership team proceed to push forward with out plans for Project 55, so that we can progress with our new building as soon as possible once we have reached our target.
We have kindly had a donation of cladding material, which, now installed has protected what is left of our building. This has certainly saved us from having to close or even relocate, during the awful wet and windy weather we are having. Thank you to Blue Chip PFP and Neil Turner for installation.
Our big fundraiser for next year will be an Evening of Fire and Ice, to be held in March 2025. Your chance to walk over hot coals or broken glass. More details will follow in due course.
