We are always looking for people who would like to become listening volunteers and/or help run our branch.
Would you like to volunteer with a close knit group of like minded people? We are always grateful for expressions of interest from anyone who would be willing to offer a few hours a week, whether it's to act as a listening volunteer to be there for those that contact us or to act as a support volunteer, offering support in all sorts of roles. You can find out more about support roles HERE

Emotional support through active listening contributes to our positive, safe and effective service.
Being a Samaritan means being there for people who need someone to listen.
Last year around 22,000 people volunteered their time with Samaritans. Here is a bit about why sparing few hours a week could make such a difference to people's lives.
Interested in joining our team of amazing volunteers?
