Giving some time to be a Samaritan means being there for people who desperately need someone. And that really matters. Right now we need volunteers more than ever. Find out how you can help.
Stoke branch is currently in urgent need of new volunteers to deliver our vital service. We call those who provide support to those who contact us (by telephone, face-to-face and email) "Listening Volunteers" and we generally run three courses a year for new Listening Volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a Listening Volunteer we have an Information Session, which is an opportunity for you to come in and meet us, and find out more about our work. If you are interested in attending our next session, please email for dates and more information at [email protected]
Offering support directly isn't for everyone though and the team of Support Volunteers who support the service by working in our Charity Shops are just as vital. Without the funds they raise we could not continue. We are recruiting new Support Volunteers NOW! To find out about volunteering in our charity shops, click here
