We met people in our branch 49 times and reached out to people outside of the branch.

We are really proud to be part of the hugely respected national charity Samaritans, who drive national campaigns such as ' Real People, Real Stories' .......

Rotherham Samaritans are a proactive dedicated team of volunteers providing emotional non-judgemental support to people experiencing feelings of distress or despair.

Percy Street branch opened over 40 years ago and we have been providing phone and face to face support for many years.

Our team of over 50 volunteers keep our branch phones answered, and visitors seen, as well as fundraising to keep the branch running. We also provide outreach support to organisations that want to know more about Samaritans and what we do.

COVID-19

Owing to the coronavirus pandemic, Rotherham Samaritans have regretfully stopped all Face to Face callers and all other visitors to the branch. In August we begun outdoor outreach activities in line with Covid 19 restrictions and we are working in partnership with Network Rail within our local communities. You will see us out and about in October.
