At Bromley & Orpington Samaritans, we run training courses twice a year in the Spring and Autumn.
Although not essential, we encourage you to attend a virtual Information Session to find out what it is like to volunteer with us. These sessions are held throughout the year.

We interview candidates in small groups when we have training spaces available - in other words, interviews are linked to a specific, upcoming class. We do not have the capacity to interview continuously. We try to be fair and offer interviews to those who have been waiting longest on our list. This mean that there may be a few months between applying and being considered for a training course.
