Meeting other community organisations in Northallerton and beyond
We were very pleased to be part of Hambleton Community Action's community event, held at the Golden Lion in Northallerton yesterday. The aim of the event was to help anyone aged 18 or over learn more about, and get involved in, activities tailored to their interests and needs.
We met and talked with people from various local agencies, including Age UK, Mind, Northallerton Street Angels and others, and were able to book space at Northallerton library for next January's 'Brew Monday' event. A very rewarding day – thank to you Hambleton Community Action for arranging the event. Thank you also to our volunteer, John, for spotting this great last-minute opportunity and allowing us share the stand with Prostate Cancer UK.
