Manchester & Salford Samaritans were at Victoria Station
This team of Samaritans volunteers were at Victoria Station, Manchester, on Saturday 24th July spreading the word about the Samaritans “Talk to Us” initiative.
Team leader Sarah said “We gave out lots of leaflets, bookmarks and pens to let passers-by, to encourage those in need to talk to the Samaritans in confidence. The public were fantastic and some stayed for a chat or asked for further information. This made our morning very worthwhile” she added.
Sarah said “People can talk to the Samaritans by telephone (freefone 116 123), email ([email protected]) or Online Chat (via Samaritans website) depending on what suits people best”.
"We are here for people who are going through a difficult time".
