Macclesfield Samaritans were delighted to host the High Sheriff of Cheshire this week, having an opportunity to explain to her the huge range of things we do as Samaritans.
We work at a national level and also locally within our community, in Styal prison, in local schools, with local businesses and our railway stations to name but a few.
We discussed the depth and breadth of the work we do with the High Sheriff, which was a great meeting of minds, sharing our experiences of how to continue building on these relationships.
Much cake was eaten!
