Lancaster Samaritans Outreach
We want as many people as possible to know about Samaritans so we love getting out into the community to talk about what we do and to remind people we are here for them.
We have a regular presence at local railway stations, attend local community events such as Lancaster Pride, support fundraising events, have stalls in shopping centres and deliver talks to local organisations, such as the Women's Institute.
Look at our News section to see what we've been doing recently
If you represent a group or organisation and would like leaflets and posters to promote Samaritans to your members or clients or to arrange a talk about our service or to discuss how your local branch can help you, please email [email protected]
Education Outreach
Our Education Outreach team work with local schools, colleges, universities and youth groups. They offer talks and workshops to students about looking after their mental health and how to be there for their friends. If you work in education and would like to talk to us about what we can offer, please email [email protected].
