Your local Samaritans in the heart of King's Lynn
Getting to know us
Jackie - Director of King's Lynn branch
The King's Lynn Samaritans branch is composed exclusively of volunteers. We have around 100 listening and support volunteers, some local but others making up to an incredible 80 mile round trip, all offering their time and amazing help to those in need. Our service has only been made possible through the very kind donations from the public, for which we are so grateful and on which we continue to depend.
We hope you will enjoy navigating our site to find out more about who we are and what we do. You may even be interested in joining us! Do please get in touch with any questions you may have.

Our impact
Some of the primary concerns raised by our callers relate to isolation and loneliness, family, mental health or illness, physical health, relationship problems, workplace or place of study. Having someone to listen, without fear of judgement, alleviates distress and allows our callers to explore feelings and to reach a better understanding of their situation and the options open to them. The Samaritans mission is to offer a safe and confidential space to talk, any time of day or night, to anyone in emotional distress.
