Suzanne has given 40 years' of listening to IOM branch
During our branch training day on 29 October 2022, we were pleased to be able to celebrate 40 years of Samaritans listening with our longstanding volunteer Suzanne Harding MBE.
Suzanne has held many roles in the branch over the years, including Branch director, and was instrumental in setting up Samaritans listening in the Isle of Man prison for which she was awarded her MBE. 2022 saw the prison team celebrate 25 years of providing emotional support to the Island's prison community.
Suzanne continues to play a vital role in the branch through her involvement in the training team, the prison team and her participation in outreach events. She is also a dedicated listening volunteer and the branch is indebted to her for the support she has given over the years.
