On 12th January, Kol Chai Hatch End Jewish Community held a Service, Brunch and Panel Discussion and presented a large donation to Harrow Samaritans.
Along with representatives from OLLIE (One Life Lost Is Enough) and Harrow Citizens Mental Health Action Team, Denise and Isobel from Harrow Samaritans were on a panel to discuss mental health awareness. There were lots of interesting topics raised by the audience including the emotional wellbeing of children and the stresses faced by them.
Rabbi Naomi from Kol Chai said "It's great for people to know that we are taking mental health seriously and working with organisations like the Samaritans".
In addition, during High Holy days the Kol Chai Community has raised an amazing £1934 for Harrow Samaritans. So an enourmous thank you to them from all the volunteers at Harow Samaritans.
