On Wednesday 24th July, volunteers across the UK and ROI were out in force helping raise awareness of Samaritans and letting more people know that we're here 24/7, for anyone who needs our support.
From 7am to 7pm, Waterloo station was awash with green t-shirts as over 200 Samaritans from across London region took over the station concourse for their Big Listen regional event.
Harrow branch was represented by an amazing 16 volunteers (and family members) who enjoyed chatting to rail commuters and raising awareness about our services. They also collected an astonishing total of £1000 for Harrow branch... important funds for maintaining our branch but also a reflection of how much we are valued by the general public.
