Harrogate Golf Club

On behalf of the Harrogate & District branch of the Samaritans, Thank You to everyone who contributed to a very successful charity golf day on Saturday 30th October 2021.

The final figure we raised on the day was £2195 which is just incredible and will enable our volunteers to continue taking calls and ensure that our callers can get the help they so desperately need. Special thanks should go to the staff who made sure the members were all looked after on the day; to the Pro’s for ensuring that all went smoothly signing in and for explaining the format; to the Match and Handicap Team for coming up with a terrific fun format which was extremely well received by the membership.

The rain began just as the 1st group was going out and gradually got worse as the morning progressed and yet, the members still kept teeing off on the 1st! The generosity and cheery demeanour of all those who took part was so very special. I really can’t thank the members enough, for your support and genuine interest in how we operate as a charity and most of all, for the generosity shown which was truly amazing.

Congratulations to the Prize Winners. Prizes were donated by Asda Harrogate, McArthur Glen Designer Outlet York and a generous Donation was given by FIGS charity.
