“We are a society that are thinking too much but not talking enough”
An inspiring young woman called Rachael Hollwey, with the support of her dedicated team at Walk and Talk, a mental health charity based in Malta, will be holding a concert with music and dance by performers from the UK and Malta, who will also share their own personal stories and experiences.
Rachael is an amazing mental health advocate who has overcome some really difficult personal challenges. Through her charity she encourages people to walk together and talk openly about their struggles, fears and stresses. It is a new way of supporting those suffering from, or caring for someone suffering from a mental illness in Malta, with a holistic approach combining physical and mental well-being.
“At Walk and Talk, we organise community walks with the aim of raising awareness, reducing the stigma and supporting those suffering with mental health illness. My shout out to the world is to never give up and that anything is possible!” Rachael Hollwey.
Rachael is kindly sharing proceeds from the evening between her own charity, Walk and Talk, and Samaritans of Farnborough & District, which she is passionate about supporting.
Please come and join us for a fun and uplifting evening at Princes Hall in Aldershot on Saturday 29 October 2022.
