Our December Information Session is on Monday 16th December at 7:30 pm
Looking for a new challenge then why not come to our next information session on Monday 16th December at 7:30 p.m.?
Our information session gives you the opportunity to find out about our branch and what it is like to volunteer with us. We'll take you through the different elements of your training and give you a chance to ask questions about the process. This year, our branch is celebrating its 60th year of supporting people as Edinburgh Samaritans is the second oldest Samaritans Branch in the UK having opened our doors on 1st June 1959. Since that day, there have been many changes in society and in our branch, but two elements have never changed; the value of being able to give someone a place to talk, and the need for volunteers to join our branch to ensure that we can be there to listen.
If you would like to find out more about the volunteering opportunities available at our branch, join us on Monday 16th December at 7:30 p.m. to find out more about what it means to be a Samaritans Volunteer and what the recruitment process is. There is more information in our volunteering pages about the different volunteer roles available and you'll be able to complete an enquiry form.
If you can't make this date, we will have further dates in the new year.
