YOUNG PHILANTHROPY INITIATIVE IN SUPPORT OF SAMARITANS OF DUNFERMLINE
A group of 3 girls from Dunfermline High School, Rachel, Carolyn and Kirsty have chosen Dunfermline Samaritans as their charity for the Young Philanthropy Initiative. They have got through to the final of the competition and will be delivering their presentation again on the 8th June.
We wholeheartedly applaud the efforts of these young students in advertising the aims of Samaritans and highlighting our work to all of their peers and teachers. Very well done indeed girls and good luck in the final.

Well done girls.
Here we see the Dunfermline High school students Carolyn, Kirsty and Rachel at the final of the YPI with Liz and Maggie from Samaritans of Dunfermline. They received £250 for the branch from the Rotary Club for reaching the finals. They also raised £80 by running a raffle in the school. What a fantastic achievement and very well done to the girls from a grateful Samaritans of Dunfermline.
