Our shop is a vital source of funds for Chesterfield Samaritans. We get all our donations through our shop door and not from a central warehouse as many charity shops do. Every donation goes towards supporting the Chesterfield branch. This enables us to support our callers and support the local people via our Outreach teams. We are most grateful for all donations made.
Chesterfield Samaritans is a self-funded branch, relying on donations, legacies and grants. We are not centrally funded, as is often assumed. We exist because of the kindness and generosity of local people and organisations.

These chairs are now in the shop and could be yours for a reasonable donation! There’s also a curved desk and computer chair available. Call in at the shop to see.

Could you help in our shop?
Our shop needs volunteers to keep the shop open. The public are generous with their donations but these need sorting and preparing for sale, pricing and arranging in the shop.
If you’re helpful and friendly and you enjoy contact with the public you could be who we need. If you have previous retail experience that could be invaluable.
