Always on the look – out for ways to raise funds for our branch, our volunteer Brian asked his local Co-op store in Christleton Road, Boughton CH3 5TD for Chester Samaritans to be one of three charities supported by the Co-op Local Causes scheme. This meant that anyone living within 15 miles of the store could nominate our charity as the recipient of 1% of their spends on Co-op branded goods. It all mounted up to over £2000 in 2018 and £4137.02 this year!

Thank you Chester Boughton Co-op and all those who nominated us for this magnificent cheque received, it's a massive help towards the cost of £85 per day needed to keep our branch running day and night 7 days a week.
