Our very own Viking in the Great North Run, Chester Metric and Conwy Half
Our very own volunteer Brian the Viking (otherwise known as Brian 651), was a bit fed up with his run time of 3 hours 4 minutes in this year’s half marathon Great North Run, but it was a beautiful clear blue sky day (no cooling cloud or breeze) and we think he forgets he’s getting on a bit at 77!

Followed by a bit of a rest, just a little 5K Erddig run...

...as a warm up to the Conwy Half on 17th November - he's just itching to do another coastal run!
And particularly brilliant for us, is that his running club are supporting us for every one of these events. Thank you Penyffordd Run Club! He just can't keep still!
