Chester get behind Samaritans for Samaritans Awareness Day
Lighting the City Green
24th July is Samaritans Awareness Day, and Chester was in full illumination in support of Samaritan, and the Volunteers at Chester & District Branch.
The Eastgate Clock and Chester Town Hall were in full Green for Samaritans.
Samaritans Awareness Day is held on 24th July to remind people of our service and our Volunteers who are there on the phones 24/7.
Samaritans are available round the clock to those who need a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space to talk through anything that is causing emotional distress.
It is a vital reminder as we move out of Lockdown and back to normal, but people are still struggling with their Mental Health and we know that talking to us does help.
Thank you everyone for your support and please remember that Samaritans are available 24/7 for you when you need to talk.
