Our volunteers were at Cheltenham Spa and Kemble train stations this morning, handing out teabags to encourage passengers to take part in Brew Monday.
The third Monday in January is sometimes dubbed "Blue Monday" and said to be the most difficult day of the year. However, this is a myth made up by a travel company to try to sell holidays in the winter.
We prefer to call this day Brew Monday, and encourage people to take time to sit down for a cuppa and a chat. Our volunteers were braving the cold early this morning at Kemble and Cheltenham Spa railway stations handing out teabags, and passing on this message.
Our volunteers, alongside railway passengers, appeared on BBC radio Gloucestershire to talk about Brew Monday this morning. You can listen again to them on the Nicky Price show.
