The London Marathon, scheduled for Sunday 26 April, will not be taking place because of the Coronavirus restrictions. Instead we will be doing a 2.6 challenge.
As you may know the London Marathon, scheduled for this Sunday 26 April, will not be taking place because of the Coronavirus restrictions. The London Marathon has always been a huge source of funding for charities, and in order to help replace some of the lost funding, the 2.6 Challenge is being launched on 26 April instead.
As part of the 2.6 Challenge, the Cheltenham Branch Director Helen, Treasurer Clive and Administrator Emma will be walking/running 26 miles up and down the Prestbury Road, between the Director's house and our building in Back Albert Place ...30 trips in total! We will be travelling separately and observing social distancing at all times.
As our branch is responsible for all of our own fundraising we would really appreciate any donation, however small. We are continuing to operate our essential service during these difficult times, and anyone who needs support should call our freephone number 116123 or email us at [email protected].
UPDATE 29/04/20: We raised a staggering **** £4,488.96 **** ~ many thanks to everyone for your support and donations.
