We received the following letter from a grateful and appreciative visitor to the branch
About 18 months ago I was in a really bad place. When a Samaritan offered me a face to face option in Chelmsford, I was so very grateful. I saw a lovely lady who made me feel so safe and helped me navigate a way forward. As I sat there whilst she went to make me a cup of tea, my eyes wandered to the walls. I felt it was a real shame that the pictures on the wall offered me no comfort.
After the session, I offered, as a token of my gratitude, to give you a framed picture to hang in your centre.
I wanted it to offer hope and comfort and calmness. To me this abstract sums up the love and compassion I felt that day.
It looks more impactful in the flesh and from a distance due to it being an abstract.
I do hope you can find a little place for it where others in need can benefit from it.
