A Moving Evening
Samaritans from Chelmsford Branch were pleased to attend the vigil organised by Chelmsford City Council and the young people’s charity, KeepIt100 on Saturday evening. The vigil was held in support of victims of knife crime at the incredible Knife Angel sculpture in Chelmsford Park. The Knife Angel which is touring the country is made up of 100,000 blades from knives which have been handed over in knife amnesties. The vigil which included testimony from victims of knife crime and performances by children and a gospel choir was very moving.
