I did the Thames Bridges Trek (25k) for Central London Samaritans because their work is vitally important, especially now. I have been a Samaritans volunteer for nearly two years now. I trained at the Central London branch and since then it has become increasingly obvious to me the vital role Samaritans play in so many people's lives - not just those who are suicidal but those who have reached a crisis point and need emotional support to help them through.
