At 5.30am on Saturday 8th October 2022, when most of us were still asleep! Karen and Fiona took part in the Dawn Walk around Carlisle.
They raised £400 for Samaritans. Karen, whose dad Brian McClelland was a very active volunteer at Samaritans Carlisle, until he sadly passed away in 2021. Told me, "My dad would be laughing his head off at me getting up at 5.30am on a Saturday and if it rains he might even fall off his cloud". Well done Karen & Fiona, I hope you both enjoyed the walk and thank you.
