Talk to Us is our annual awareness campaign that runs throughout the month of July, culminating on 24 July when 7 Bury volunteers will take on a 26.2 mile 'Samarathon'.
“Our outreach work and fundraising activity remains on hold across the country until further notice, but we hope that the public can continue to support us in any way they can, to ensure that our volunteers can continue to be there for anyone struggling to cope.”
Chris Mills, Branch Director.
At Bury Samaritans, our Talk to Us July campaign will focus on the key service that we provide to the people of Bury and the surrounding areas. This year, more than ever, people are in need of the vital service that we provide due to the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on mental wellbeing. On the 24 July, 7 Bury Samaritans will take on a 26.2 mile walk to raise awareness of our fantastic service and the continued efforts of our volunteers.
