As dusk fell this weekend, many local landmarks were Lighting up Green as a reminder that Samaritans is here for anyone who needs emotional support, wherever they are, 24/7, 365 days a year.
On December 21st, 2024, businesses and landmarks across Brierley Hill and the surrounding areas illuminated in green as part of Samaritans’ annual Longest Night appeal, #SamaritansLongestNight.
From local shops to corporate buildings, the glowing lights served as a powerful reminder that support is always available for those facing their darkest moments. This incredible show of solidarity reinforced the message that no one has to struggle alone, and help is just a call away, 24/7.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, showing their commitment to suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Together, we created a beacon of hope for those who need it most.
