Volunteering with Samaritans can be a very rewarding experience and you will find our branch friendly and supportive.

By volunteering with Samaritans of Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot and Districts you can:
- Help change people’s lives
- Give something back to your local community
- Learn new skills
- Make new friends
- Become part of a well respected organisation
We are always looking for new volunteers to help support us with our work. You don’t need any formal qualifications or previous experience. If you’d like to become a listening volunteer, all you need is to be able to listen and remain open-minded and non-judgemental. If you don’t think being a listening volunteer is right for you but have other skills, such as publicity and fundraising, then you might like to join us as a support volunteer.
Whatever your role, you can be sure you will receive full training and be supported throughout your time with us. You can find a lot more information about volunteering and whether it might be right for you in the Support section at the bottom of this page.
Just register your interest by clicking on the ‘Volunteer at this Branch’ button on our Home page — we’d love to hear from you.
