Volunteers at Bracknell Samaritans work tirelessly to support the Samaritans mission to offer a safe space to talk, any time day or night, for anyone who is emotionally distressed.
Anyone who is feeling troubled can usually call into the Bracknell Samaritans branch during our opening hours or contact us. Unfortunately, this face-to-face service is not available at the moment, due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, please do phone or email us anytime of day or night if you need us.
Our volunteers at the Bracknell Samaritans Branch work extensively in the local community to promote awareness of our services and to help individuals and organisations do everything possible to help recognise and support anyone experiencing distress or despair.
The Bracknell Samaritans branch is composed exclusively of volunteers and funded entirely by charitable donations. Volunteering with the Samaritans is a wonderfully fulfilling and rewarding experience. Find out more about volunteering at Samaritans.
Bracknell Samaritans usually hold a range of exciting and enjoyable fundraising events throughout the year including our highly successful annual Bracknell Samaritans Run, which includes a 5K or 10K option as well as a Teddy Bear Kids Run. Although in the present situation we are no longer able to hold events in the community, we plan to re-engage with these events when safe to do so and we let you know when we have more information about this . We engage in mutually beneficial partnerships with a broad range of local organisations. We would love to talk with you if you would like to know more.
Most importantly, if you need our help, we are here to support you, however and whenever you wish to get in touch.
Best wishes,
Angela
