We were proud to have several of our volunteers represent Bognor Regis, Chichester & District Samaritans branch at a fun run in Chichester on Saturday, 8 February.
Volunteers Amy, Emma, Christian, Rod, and Rupert took on the 5k course, which took entrants around three laps of Oaklands Park. They joined many other keen runners, all of whom braved the wintry morning for a brisk jog.

Cheering on the runners were a few more of our fantastic volunteers, Kate and Carolyn, who set up a collection stand at the park to help raise donations. It’s a privilege to have such a wonderful team dedicated to raising awareness of our branch.
We would like to thank everyone at the event who came by the collection stand to offer a friendly hello. Many people shared with us how much our work means to them and, once again, we were astounded by the generosity of so many people – we raised over £300 for the branch.
It was a great way to kickstart the weekend, and we are looking forward to taking part in more fun runs in the future.
In the meantime, if you would like to keep up with our branch’s activities in the community, you can have a look at our Branch News page and follow us on X.
