Our branch has been in Blackburn for over 50 years to provide emotional support to anyone who needs us.

A bit about our branch

Our branch is run entirely by volunteers and we have over 90 volunteers who either are listening volunteers, support volunteers and we also have a team of fundraising volunteers.

We have to raise over £30,000 per year to run our branch and this amount needs to be raised entirely by our fundraising volunteers as we do not receive any government funding.

To keep up to date with what activities our branch is up to on a day to day basis why not check out our Twitter account @bbnsamaritans

Donate to our branch

Every penny donated to our branch helps us to provide emotional support 24/7. Did you know it costs our branch £10 to answer a call to someone who needed emotional support. You could donate using the donate button at the bottom of this page. We need to raise £35k every year to run our branch and we do not get any funds from external sources so every penny donated to us means so much.

Volunteer with us

We are always looking for people to volunteer with us either in a listening capacity or a support volunteer. Support volunteers are as important part of our team as listening volunteers. If you have a skill that you feel we could use please click the button below and start your volunteer journey.
