Thursday, 10th October was World Mental Health Day and our volunteers were out bright and early at Banbury Station.
Posted 10th October 2019
Our volunteers were talking to travellers about Samaritans' Real People, Real Stories campaign which aims to reduce the level of suicide, especially amongst men, by encouraging people to speak out and seek help.
As ever, the welcome and genuine interest shown by the people of Banbury and District and station staff amongst others, was heartwarming. We handed out hundreds of pocket information cards and ticket wallets and spoke to so many people about so many things - thank you all.
