August and September have seen us busy raising funds and meeting people across our area. From the smiles on their faces our volunteers love it!
During August we were fortunate enough to be invited to the Brailes Show for the first time and it was a fabulous day with breezy sunshine, lots of stalls, activities and dogs. We definitely hope to return in 2025.

Special thanks also go to Mandy from Morrisons Superstore in Banbury for enabling us to make a return visit for a bucket collection on 22nd which raised over £175 towards our running costs.
As we moved from summer into autumn we were out again making a return visit to Banbury and Bicester College for their Freshers Fair. This is always a highlight for us as the welcome, interest and good will demonstrated by the students is an inspiration.
September also saw us taking further steps into connecting with the residents of Bicester and surrounding area with a collection at the giant Tesco store. Despite the rain we met so many people who were keen to talk to us and also donating to the branch; a total in excess of £360 was raised.
Next up is the Banbury Canal Festival on 5th and 6th October and we can't wait.
