The sun shone on People's Park for this great day out, giving our volunteers the opportunity to have a chat with some of our local community.
We were so excited to be back pitching our gazebo again and the fabulous weather made it even better with hats, sunscreen and snazzy shades being the order of the day. Thanks to Smiths of Bloxham we were also able to bring back our ever popular "guess the crushed car" competition with three people working out that it was a Renault Clio, and £100 was raised for the branch.
There were lots of smiles and chats - one of our volunteers even had a special conversation with a pterodactyl, remaining true to their Samaritans training and listening without judgement.
