Our first visit to the annual fireworks display in Brackley didn't disappoint.
The Brackley fireworks display is always extremely popular in the local area with a fabulous array of fireworks accompanied by terrific music. It had been a worrying few days ahead of the event with torrential rain and strong winds but thankfully by the Saturday evening things had improved sufficiently for it to go ahead. Our hardy volunteers were suitably kitted out and they even managed to battle the wind to erect the gazebo.

Competition winners who really were enjoying themselves!
This is a real family event and our competition proved very popular, with the eventual lucky winners being a young family who had moved to the area from Ukraine at the start of the war - they're looking forward to treating themselves with their shopping voucher.
Brackley Town Mayor Cllr Sue Sharps also stopped by to say hello and pose for a photo.

We hope to be back next year with fingers firmly crossed for better weather!
