Brackley Town FC were keen to help promote Samaritans in reaching out to men going through a tough time by displaying our banner on one of their stands.
On Saturday, 7th March we made one of our last trips out before lockdown to St James Park, Brackley for the match against Blyth Spartans. Our branch director, Will Adams and deputy director for outreach and publicity, Davina Birkbeck joined stadium director, Mick Hawes for the unveiling of the banner and to cheer Brackley on. The Saints won the match by 5 goals to 2 and we feel that our loud cheering played a part in the victory. We fully expect to be asked back to the ground for key matches once supporters are allowed again!
