Banbury Canal Festival was back this year, bigger and better than ever.
Canal Day was always a great day out but after the pandemic it was finally back this year and had grown into a two day festival. We had a stall in the specially created indoor market so we knew we'd be safe from any rain, but were less sure about it being situated in the multi-storey car park underneath Lidl - but we needn't have worried, it worked really well with so many stalls from local charitities and organisations, traders selling all kinds of food, hand made items, and musicians creating a great vibe. As always the people of Banbury and surrounding towns and villages turned out in force (with their dogs) and we had so many great chats, laughs and smiles throughout the day.
